Machnick Builders, Ltd. is a forty year veteran in the general contracting industry in the Capital District and surrounding areas. Typically a general contractor will take a project that has been designed by an architect and/or engineer through the competitive or negotiated bidding process. When successful with the bid, and accepted by the owner and design professionals, it will be their responsibility to complete the project as designed.
Constuction Management:
Machnick Builders, Ltd. construction management team provides the Owner with more control over a projects scope, time frame and most importantly cost to complete a quality project at the best value. The construction management team is involved in the project early in the design phase to better plan, manage, control and coordinate the project so the work in the field runs smoothly.

Machnick Builders, Ltd. utilizes the STAR Building System for facilities such as warehouses, retail shopping plazas, aviation facilities, auto dealerships, self storage and office space. A STAR Building System is flexible with any conventional exterior and provides energy efficiency and lower maintenance costs. We work with owners and design professionals to create projects to suit their needs as well as the requirements of the governing officials for the approval process.
